Top Tech News Today: ChatGPT Reopens After Going Down For A “Major” Problem. Twelve Bitcoin Etfs Are Awaiting SEC Approval; The Review Process Has Begun

ChatGPT, the well-known OpenAI chatbot, is back online after a brief but noteworthy outage on Wednesday morning. The chatbot began providing users with faulty responses prior to 9:00 a.m. ET. This had an impact on OpenAI’s services as well as its API services, which are used by more than two million developers. ChatGPT users were notified that the service was “at capacity right now,” and a status page said that there was a “major outage” causing the issue.

Published November 4–10, 2023, in the most recent issue of Employment News, the Indian Institute of Technology (IIT Jammu) formally announced a job notification. The institute is currently accepting applications for Registrar, Executive Engineer, Senior Technical Officer, Scientific Officer, and other positions. The deadline for submitting an online application is December 16, 2023.

All twelve of the spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) applications that are currently pending could be approved by the US Securities and Exchange Commission over the course of the next eight days. James Seyffart and Eric Balchunas, Bloomberg ETF analysts, state that the SEC has a “window” starting on November 9 in the United States to accept all 12 spot Bitcoin ETF registrations, including Grayscale’s conversion of their GBTC trust product. They did stress that this is just a possibility, though.
