With more new cybersecurity businesses popping up than ever, the cybersecurity landscape is changing quickly.
If there is one factor that can generally categorise the cybersecurity landscape in India and internationally as “pre-Covid” and “post-Covid,” that is it. Businesses are adopting digital at an unprecedented rate, making the IT infrastructure more vulnerable than ever. In fact, just in 2021, cybercrime is expected to surge by 151%. Cybersecurity businesses are multiplying as a result of the rising trend in cybercrimes and the consequent need for improved cybersecurity infrastructure. India generated $9.85 billion in income in 2021, and the Data Security Council of India (DSCI) predicts that it would reach $13.6 billion by 2025, growing at a CAGR of around 21%. As a result, new cybersecurity startups are fast transforming the landscape of cybersecurity. While there are many cybersecurity startups in India, it is vital to remember to choose the business carefully because most of their operations are shrouded in secret. We have put together a list of India’s best cybersecurity startups that will be well-known by 2023.

Prophaze: An up-and-coming cybersecurity company with a focus on SaaS services, particularly through AI automation. The services include OWASP TOP 10 API security, Web Application Firewall for Kubernetes Platform, Docker Security using WAF container, etc.

Balasubramanian Venkatramani and Kumaran Balan, former executives at Zoho, founded Secureden, a company renowned for its security solutions for thwarting malware spread, insider exploitation, and cyberattacks. The task of maintaining track of vulnerabilities is made simple by the lethal mix of AI and data analytics.

Wijungle: It’s a Unified Network Security Gateway, a single-window management tool for a range of cybersecurity challenges. It provides services to both public and private sector businesses, becoming the preferred partner of government organisations for UNS services. It is happy to cooperate with many state-level organisations as well as Central Government ministries.

Appspicket: A contemporary security firm, Appspicket is renowned for its next-generation Two Factor Authentication feature, 12FA, which greatly facilitates user authentication. With 12FA, OTPs and Authenticator Apps are essentially unnecessary. Tokens with hardware and biometrics.

Secuneus: A young company with a sizable market share in the field of cyber security has already won recognition for its Managed Detection and Response and security evaluation services. Its systems are capable of detecting, preventing, and responding to cyber threats in real-time and are good at anticipating the enemy’s actions.

Kratikal: Kratikal, a pioneer in cyber-security simulation and the creation of cutting-edge awareness tools, today provides services to more than 120 clients worldwide. It is also renowned for its email authentication tools, anti-spoofing, anti-phishing, risk detection & threat analysis, code risk review, and other solutions.

Block Armour is a cybersecurity business that uses a unique approach. It makes use of cutting-edge technology like Blockchain to combat cybersecurity threats. With a single platform, the Secure Shield Architecture created by its team ensures Zero-Trust security for a variety of contexts, including on-premises, cloud systems, and IoT devices.

An AI and machine learning firm called Securetek has cybersecurity products that can significantly lower the price of IT protection. Its technologies are the best on the market and give businesses precise and usable intelligence so they can effectively manage resources.
