The Bid Made By Accenture To Purchase OnProcess Technology

November 1, 2023
Accenture

Accenture has declared its plan to purchase OnProcess Technology, a renowned supplier of supply chain management services, in a calculated move. The objective of this acquisition is to enable enterprises through process optimization, inventory management optimization, and the successful resolution of challenging service issues.

With an emphasis on asset recovery and service supply chain management, Accenture, a pioneer in the world of professional services, plans to strengthen its supply chain skills. This calculated action will streamline service order administration, expedite return procedures, monitor asset movements, and guarantee the appropriate recycling, reuse, or disposal of assets.

Reverse logistics knowledge across the whole after-sales process is a specialty of OnProcess Technology. With the use of automation, AI, and data-driven decision-making, OnProcess keeps everything transparent, from planning to asset recovery.

Accenture and OnProcess Technology’s partnership will give customers an integrated supply chain delivery strategy that smoothly integrates after-sales operations. This all-inclusive solution is anticipated to improve customer satisfaction and operational effectiveness while fostering a more environmentally conscious and sustainable supply chain.

With its headquarters in Boston, OnProcess Technology employs more than 1,500 specialists in the US, India, Bulgaria, and Costa Rica. OnProcess provides a broad range of services and in-depth knowledge to a wide range of industries, including manufacturing, medical devices, media and technology, communications, and logistics.

The importance of supply chain operations has grown in recent years, as Melissa Twiningdavis, Senior Managing Director of Supply Chain Operations at Accenture, noted. She made the point that improving cost efficiency while also bolstering resilience is a problem in today’s business environment. Supply chain management has become a crucial means of gaining a competitive edge.

Accenture is dedicated to enhancing its capacity to assist businesses with their supply chain transformation initiatives, and it will do so by integrating OnProcess Technology and its highly qualified workforce. Successful operational change is anticipated to be facilitated by this relationship by utilizing domain expertise, data-driven insights, and optimized processes.

The CEO of OnProcess Technology, Oliver Lemanski, stated his excitement on the collaboration with Accenture. He emphasized the amazing prospects that this partnership will bring to their employees, enabling them to provide clients with better services and all-encompassing solutions. Accenture and OnProcess Technology are working together to simplify the whole process chain, promote predictability, ease change, and open the door to a more sustainable future.

The main owner of OnProcess Technology, Padmini Sekhsaria, Principal at the Narotam Sekhsaria Family Office (NSFO), sent her best wishes to the OnProcess team for this new chapter in their journey. She expressed her happiness that the team will join Accenture, giving them greater opportunities to work with partners and service clients. Padmini Sekhsaria highlighted that Accenture’s participation will present exciting new prospects to support an enlarged customer base. She also noted that OnProcess Technology has set the industry standard for complex service operations management.

The acquisition’s completion is contingent upon meeting customary closing requirements, which may include obtaining the required antitrust clearances. After everything is said and done, this calculated move is anticipated to completely change the way supply chains operate and provide clients cutting-edge, comprehensive solutions that will boost productivity, sustainability, and competitiveness.
