Tata AIA Life Consumers Can Now Avail Telemedicine Services from Practo

Mumbai 29th September 2021: Tata AIA Life Insurance (Tata AIA Life), one of India’s leading Life Insurance Companies has extended Online Medical Consultation (Teleconsultation) through Practo, India’s leading integrated healthcare company to new eligible* consumers of specified products. As part of the alliance, Tata AIA consumers can avail of online medical consultations from verified doctors anywhere, anytime.

Tata AIA Life’s partnership with Practo, continues to be a powerful differentiator in strengthening the brand’s comprehensive Protection proposition. It goes far beyond the traditional insurance approach that is limited to efficient claim settlement. As part of the benefits, eligible consumer can avail 48 tele consultations per year for various medical conditions. This includes assistance for common ailments like cold, fever, injury thereby enabling them to seek immediate medical guidance from the safe and comfortable environment of their home.

With this initiative, Tata AIA Life Insurance is well placed to serve the key requirements of customers amid the pandemic. It is ensuring that its customers have access to relevant, timely and social distancing friendly support amid the growing incidences of lifestyle diseases such as cardiovascular diseases, diabetes, cancer, and thyroid. Early detection of the same, could prove to be beneficial as such illnesses pose dire consequences if not diagnosed or treated in time.

To avail timely diagnosis, eligible consumers can book Instant Video/Audio/Chat consultations with qualified specialist doctors across 22 specialties, including Cardiology, Orthopedic, Neurology and Diabetes & Endocrinology and even cases of suspected COVID infections. The service helps policyholders get their health concerns addressed and benefit from expert advice including any medical tests and medication required. These too are available to the customer on the platform itself.

Earlier, Tata AIA Life has collaborated with Practo to offer digitally enabled healthcare benefits, medical assistance, and services to its employees and advisors. As part of this initiative, employees and advisors could access Instant Video/Audio/Chat consultations with qualified doctors across 22 specialties along with availing discounts on medicines and diagnostic services.
