Now Accessible In India, GrokAI Is More Expensive Than ChatGPT Plus In Terms Of Membership Fees And Other Expenditures

December 29, 2023
GrokAI

Many people assumed it would be some time before Elon Musk’s announcement that he would be launching his own AI chatbot came to pass. To everyone’s amazement, Musk did, in fact, introduce GrokAI last month and made it available to a restricted group of users. GrokAI was made available in India and other nations earlier this month.

Please take note that only X Premium+ subscribers have access to the AI chatbot. Continue reading to learn about subscription options, how to use GrokAI, and other topics.

The GrokAI membership plan and methods for obtaining
As soon as you log in to the X homepage on a web browser, a new tab named “Grok” will appear in the side menu. If you’re using the X phone app, click your Twitter profile picture to open the side menu and find the Grok tab.

If you are an X Premium Plus user, you can start utilizing the chatbot immediately after clicking on this tab. But if you haven’t paid for X Premium+, you’ll notice a notification saying, “Grok something. Grok, our most sophisticated AI, is now available to Premium+ customers on X.” Additionally, a “Upgrade to Premium+” tab will be there beneath. Click this tab and proceed with the steps if you would want to use GrokAI after becoming a Premium+ subscriber.

In India, the monthly Premium+ Subscription costs Rs 1,300, while the annual web version costs 13,600. The Premium+ subscription on the mobile app would set you back Rs 22,900 annually and Rs 2,299 monthly.

Musk claimed that Grok will improve with time
GrokAI and ChatGPT were recently contrasted by a user on X, who claimed that the former is equally “woke” as the latter. In response to the user, Musk stated that GrokAI has been educated on a “woke” internet and that he guarantees the chatbot will improve with time.

The billionaire also mentioned that GrokAI is still under beta testing at this time. Regretfully, there is a lot of awakened crap on the Internet, which is where it is trained. Grok will recover. This is only an early version,” he wrote.

According to its introduction, Grok AI is an AI assistant that “has a rebellious streak and is witty.” “Those who lack a sense of humor shouldn’t use GrokAI,” the XAI team tweeted.

The team’s post said, “Grok is an artificial intelligence system designed to answer nearly any question and, much more difficult, to recommend what questions to ask. It is modeled after the Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy. Grok has a rebellious streak and is meant to respond to inquiries with a hint of wit, so please don’t use it if you detest humor.”

The team went on to say that because of X, Grok will be aware of the world in real time. This could imply that the users’ publicly accessible Twitter posts will be the source of knowledge for the AI system.

The product has only been taught for a few months and is now in the beta level. Additionally, according to the xAI team, it will advance “rapidly with each passing week.”
