Machine Learning Courses Offered By IIT, IIM, Harvard University, And Google

According to the World Economic Forum’s “Future of Jobs” report from May 2023, careers in artificial intelligence (AI) and related fields would be highly sought after in the ensuing decades. According to the report, there would be a net rise of 50% in machine learning (ML) and artificial intelligence (AI).

It is impossible to ignore the growing importance of AI and machine learning. Given the necessity, the following are some possibilities for professionals and students to further their education and develop their skills in preparation for future career demands.

Kozhikode’s IIM: IIM Kozhikode, an independent public business school, is providing a course on “Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence.” IIM-K is searching for early-level managers to effectively lead end-to-end Machine Learning and AI projects and solve challenging business problems. The program consists of more than 350 pre-recorded videos, as well as numerous assignments and quizzes. It is required to have a minimum of a diploma (10+2+3) in any field in addition to a foundational knowledge of statistics and maths.

The curriculum is available online for eight months through the institute. The course costs around Rs 1,50,000, and GST will be added at the time of payment. The course must be completed before April 17th. The following is how interested parties can apply:

Along with other required information, customers must enter their name, educational background, and work history while creating an account.
The institute shall have the right to review the application form once it has been completed.
After being selected for further consideration, the candidate can contact the program adviser for further financial details or pay the application fee online.

Google: A free machine learning training up to the foundational levels is available from Google. The 15-hour curriculum includes over 30 exercises, 25 lessons, and real-world case studies. Candidates who are interested in improving their professions, regardless of their educational experience, can register and begin the course.
The course covers all the fundamentals of machine learning as well as generalization, logistic regression, and data dependencies, providing candidates with the knowledge they need to pursue a successful career in the field. The following is how candidates can access the course:

Once chosen, look for the option to “start course.”
The link will take you to an alternate webpage.
In this manner, candidates might begin the course with “Introduction to Machine Learning” for their foundation level.

Udemy: From basic to expert level, this Udemy course will assist beginners gain hands-on experience. There are sixteen lectures total, broken up into five sections for the course. Applicants must be proficient in Python, programming, and scripting. The course costs Rs 1799 and lasts for six hours. This show will be available on TV and on mobile devices.

In addition to learning how to utilize NumPy for quick mathematical computations in machine learning, applicants will also learn how to use scikit-learn for data preprocessing, cluster analysis, anomaly detection, and various model and feature selection strategies.

Harvard University: The Ivy League university and edX have partnered to provide a course on “Data Science: Machine Learning.” Interested parties can sign up for the course for free until June 5th, after which they must pay a fee in order to receive a certificate of completion. The self-paced machine learning course will teach students how to build a recommendation system, understand regularization and how to use it, build a recommendation system, and use cross-validation to prevent overtraining.

The eight-week course is taught in English and includes multiple video transcripts in Hindi, Français, and Español, among other languages. To access the course, interested candidates must follow the instructions listed below:

Candidates will need to determine the best time to finish the course after being chosen.
Once the date has been chosen, pick the enroll now option once more.
Candidates must first register and then fill out the university form with all required information.

IIT Kanpur: The top university in India, IIT Kanpur, is providing a professional certificate programme in artificial intelligence and machine learning. The minimum requirements for interested candidates include a bachelor’s degree with an average score of at least 50%, prior programming and math knowledge or experience, and two years or more of formal work experience in the same industry.

Applied data science with Python, deep learning with Keras, TensorFlow, ChatGPT, OpenAI, Dall-E, and other tools are among the topics covered in this 11-month course. The course costs approximately Rs 1,53,400. How to apply to the course is as follows:

Students must enter personal data, including name, phone number, and years of experience, in order to begin the application process.
There will be an application form visible on the screen. It is advised that students fill out the form accurately.
Send in the form.

Intel
Intel, one of the biggest producers of semiconductors and central processing units worldwide, is providing free machine learning classes. Candidates with a variety of educational backgrounds and work experiences can access the company’s contents. The course lasts for thirteen months.

With the help of video lectures, candidates can master anything from cost functions, regularization, feature selection, and hyperparameters to NumPy, SciPy, and pandas.

Numerous more platforms provide machine learning courses ranging from foundational to fundamental levels. It is advised that students who want to work in machine learning compare the courses mentioned above before devoting time and resources to them.
