Learn About Artificial Intelligence Art With Indian Artist Tapan Aslot

December 7, 2022
Artificial-Intelligence

Nowadays, the term of the moment is generative AI. Creative AI, which ranges from unique AI artworks to AI forecasts, is a topic that is constantly expanding.

Creative director turned artificial intelligence artist Tapan Aslot is exploring in this area, and his work is captivating. Tapan has been using DALL-E and Midjourney among other AI tools for the last six months. Tapan claims that working as an AI artist has allowed him the time and freedom to ponder and replicate his ideas.

“I have 10,000 duties as a creative director for a corporation. I therefore only ever had a small amount of time to myself on the weekends, Tapan added.

Tapan had a wide canvas on which to spread his ideas thanks to AI. However, he fervently believes that these generative AI works should have a commercial component in order to give them the popularity they require.

“Artists should receive credit”
One of Tapan’s LinkedIn followers recently took and reposted some of his AI artwork. Tapan followed the person’s background and discovered that they had also been republishing the creations of other AI artists. Tapan then informed his colleagues performers and reported the individual.

Tapan has a strong opinion regarding the ongoing discussion of copyright disputes around the world after going through such an experience. He believed that artists, not artificial intelligence, should receive credit for their creations. Artists must, however, disclose the AI algorithm that was used to create the artwork.

“What if part of my commercial work is stolen one day? Will that not have an impact on my artistic credibility? “tapan asks.

All of Tapan’s works currently have his ownership of the copyrights.

A new phase in AI
Tapan asserts, “AI is not a magic wand.” One needs to have a solid command of English to produce AI work. He believes that creative intelligence will be important in the future. With AI, a specialist in a certain field will have an advantage.

The command still rests with humans, at least for the time being. A more imaginative person might make the most of AI. Thinkers, in Tapan’s opinion, cannot be replaced. As a result, it is imperative that everyone embrace the rapidly developing field of AI.

According to Tapan, the text-to-video idea would be a significant advancement. “Text-to-text, text-to-audio, and text-to-music are currently available. On text-to-video, though, they are still working. I am therefore anticipating that “, Tapan claims.

pipeline initiatives
In the near future, Tapan has a number of projects planned. He is working with a business to create AI artwork for cabinets. Although Tapan hasn’t published any NFT works, he does have some concepts in the works.

Additionally, he is collaborating on the creation of a comic book on ancient India with one of the top comic book publishing companies. The creation of AI comics will be seen by the entire world for the first time in history.

The Art Director’s Club, a global organisation of artists, also featured Tapan’s work. Tapan’s works were also published by the club, which invited 102 AI artists from around the world to exhibit their work in honour of its 102-year anniversary. He is currently anticipating the film’s debut in the first week of December.
