Informa Markets In India Organises 3rd Renewable Energy India Expo

The Renewable Energy India (REI) Expo, Asia’s largest and most influential renewable energy expo by Informa Markets in India, launched the 3rd edition of its virtual trade exhibition and conference ‘REI E-Expo’ today. The two day virtual expo slated for August 5-6, 2021 was virtually inaugurated by a stellar dignitary panel including Dr. Stephan Hesselmann, Economic Minister Counsellor, German Embassy, New Delhi; Mr. Alexis Issaharoff, CBC Vice – Chair for Asia (in charge of Southeast Asia); Ms. Jennifer Fagan, First Secretary, Trade and Investment – Energy and Clean Growth, Department for International Trade, British High Commission, New Delhi; Mr Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets in India and Mr Rajneesh Khattar, Group Director – Energy Portfolio, Informa Markets in India.

The REI E-Expo expo has been received with enthusiasm by the industry and features renowned exhibitors such as Jinko Solar, Anchor, Longi, Sova Solar, Centrotherm, Sabo Systems, Amerisolar, Indo-German Energy Forum, Senergy, Risen Energy, Amrut Energy to name a few.

The products in focus encompassed PV Production Technologies, Solar PV Modules & Allied Products, Solar Inverters & Hybrid Systems, Testing & Monitoring Equipment’s, Bio Energy Solutions, Wind Turbines & Energy Solutions, Electric Vehicle Manufacturers, Charging Infrastructure Providers, Energy Storage Solution Companies and Commercial & Residential Project Developers.

Speaking at the launch of the 3rd REI E-Expo, Mr. Yogesh Mudras, Managing Director, Informa Markets in India said,“The REI E-Expo comes at a critical juncture of the gradual re-building of  the economy. The need for policy makers and industry players to continue engaging for a sustainable Covid-19 recovery is therefore immense and would help scale up sustainable, innovative, reliable, technological efficient, and modern energy. The two-day REI E-Expo is one of the steps to help in this eco-system. Significantly, with renewable energy continuing to be a much focused upon sector, its construct in the current pandemic is a challenge as well as an opportunity. Apart from connecting buyers of renewable energy solutions and technologies with right manufactuers and suppliers, this edition brings together energy leaders across the globe through our two-day conference that will discuss market trends, impacts and way forward in restructuring the RE Sector in these disruptive times.” 

The 3rd edition of the REI E-Expo is geared to decipher relevant insights gained in the global renewables market through its two-day power packed conference with theme ‘‘Transforming to Clean Green World’.’ The live conference agenda is deliberating on global and domestic issues relating to the RE sector, such as ‘Environmental, Social and Corporate Governance’; ‘Policies to Fast Track deployment of EV charging infrastructure in India’; ‘India, the new Frontier for Solar Manufacturing; Energy Storage for Ancillar Services’, ‘T&D and Re-Hybrid for India’; ‘CBC India Leadership session’; ‘Can low carbon hydrogen power Indian businesses?’; ‘India’s Decade Energy Transition: Innovation, Integration and Indigenisation’; ‘Financial and Investor Session Hub’; ‘New Agrivoltaic Development in India’ and the ‘Potential of Biogas between Dream and Reality’, amongst others.
