India is becoming a worldwide Fintech powerhouse in the age of technology innovation and digital change. With the greatest FinTech acceptance rate of 87%, it is one of the Fintech markets with the quickest rate of growth in the world. This increase is being driven by a growing number of consumers who are aware of digital trends, a stable regulatory framework, and a strong startup community. The way financial services are provided and used is being revolutionized by Indian FinTech businesses, who are creating everything from blockchain solutions and robo-advisors to digital payments and lending platforms.

In order to highlight the contribution of fintech companies to India’s ascent to prominence in this domain, DPIIT has registered more than 3000 fintech businesses in India. With the financial services industry undergoing fast transition spearheaded by fintech businesses, there is an acute demand for qualified people who can leverage technology to spur innovation and alter the sector.

The e-Masters in Financial Technology and Management programme at IIT Kanpur

IIT Kanpur provides e-Masters in Financial Technology & Management to fill the gap between the demand for experts who can spearhead the revolution and India’s emergence as a fintech power. This programme is an innovative method that combines traditional financial management ideas with contemporary financial technologies.

With a concentration on Fintech, this master’s program offers working professionals a unique chance to investigate the evolution and supervision of technology-driven financial services and products. With courses covering a wide range of topics like risk management, data analytics, digital transformation, and financial innovation, the degree program provides students with a thorough understanding of the modern financial environment. By utilizing a combination of virtual learning, real-world case studies, and applied projects, students gain practical experience in creating and managing technology-based financial solutions.

This degree program, which is offered by the Department of Management Sciences (DoMS), provides a comprehensive education in financial technology and management. With honors like being ranked first in innovation, fourth in engineering, and fifth overall by NIRF 2023, IIT Kanpur is well-suited to teach this degree program and equip graduates with the know-how and abilities needed to pursue leadership positions in the rapidly evolving, technologically advanced industry.
