India is fully embracing modern technology like artificial intelligence. Prime Minister Narendra Modi announced that India will lead the world in artificial intelligence (AI) while appreciating the efforts. In other developments, to investigate how AI could improve the healthcare industry, Samsung and Deloitte invested in a medical AI startup called PocketHealth.

1. PM Narendra Modi discussing AI’s potential in India

In his speech at Startup Mahakumbh, PM Modi emphasized India’s potential to become the global leader in artificial intelligence. Additionally, he urged companies to develop solutions that will address India’s international problems. We are in a new era of AI technology, and the world recognizes that India will have an advantage in AI, according to PM Modi. Making sure we don’t miss this chance is now our top priority. According to a PTI report, he also mentioned how job opportunities will be brought about by the mission in AI and semiconductors.

2. Inflection AI modifies its approach after the bulk of staff members join Microsoft
Mustafa Suleyman and Karn Simonyan, who formerly worked at the AI firm Inflection AI, were hired by Microsoft. In addition, some employees have switched to Microsoft. Given the direction, the startup might want to grant Microsoft a technological license. The business may now decide to alter its approach and start selling its own AI solutions to customers directly. Reid Hoffman, a venture capitalist and creator of the company, wrote on LinkedIn, “Good day for everyone involved in Inflection.” According to a Bloomberg story, “this agreement with Microsoft means that all of Inflection’s investors will have a good outcome today, and I anticipate good future upside.”

3. Deloitte and Samsung investigate AI in healthcare
With $33 million raised, the medical AI startup PocketHealth has been seeking funding for its AI projects. In an effort to investigate the possibilities of AI in the healthcare industry, Samsung and Deloitte have also made investments in the business. “We use AI to help patients understand what the radiologist’s report is saying and what they should do next,” stated the company’s chief executive, Rishi Nayyar. According to a Bloomberg story, the company intends to develop an AI-based image-sharing network that will aid in providing individualized care and treatment.

4. For passenger safety, taSki Technologies and Netradyne collaborate
Together, taSki Technologies and Netradyne, a top supplier of AI fleet and driver safety solutions, have developed passenger safety solutions for EVs. TaSki will make use of Driver.i, a vision-based solution from Netradyne, to learn more about how drivers behave and interact with customers. According to the press statement, the application will also enable the business to spot possible dangers including tailgating, speeding, and more.

5. AI will allow visitors to a museum in New Orleans to have virtual talks with WWII veterans
The interactive exhibition at the National WWII Museum in New Orleans is set to debut. Using artificial intelligence, the museum will enable visitors to have virtual chats with photographs of WWII veterans. In order to have AI interactions, guests will need to select the individual they want to talk to while standing in front of a console.
