AICRA To Set Up The Center Of Excellence For AI In The Bengaluru With A Corpus Fund Of 100 Cr

New Delhi: At the India First Tech Start-up Conclave, the All India Council for Robotics & Automation (AICRA) announced the establishment of a Centre of Excellence (CoE) for Artificial Intelligence (AI) in Bengaluru, also known as the silicon valley of India. With a corpus fund of Rs 100 crore, the CoE will focus on providing state-of-the-art infrastructure to start-ups in the AI sector to help them start, sustain and do R&D. An MoU was signed for the establishment of the CoE.

Organized by the All India Council for Robotics & Automation (AICRA) under the India startup mission, IFTSC witnessed the presence of Minister of Information Technology of Karnataka Shri Ashwath Narayan Ji, Shri Rajesh Pathak (Sec. Technology Development, GOI), Senior government officials of various states, more than hundred Investors and Venture Capitalists and technology startups from many states like Uttar Pradesh, Kerala, Chhattisgarh, Odisha, etc.

 said “IFTSC 2022 aims at accelerating technological innovations in the tech startup ecosystem of our country. These transformative technologies will reshape the sector and will provide solutions for all the current challenges. We are developing the Center of excellence for artificial intelligence in the city of Bengaluru and also building a fund corpus of 100 Cr for promoting new-age startups in the country which will ensure sustainability in the startup ecosystem”.

The Bengaluru chapter highlighted the latest transformative technologies in the tech startup ecosystem, such as Artificial intelligence, Machine learning, Drone technologies as well as several new categories. IFTSC envisions promoting technology startups to find a space for themselves and creating beneficial partnerships with industry giants and technology behemoths. It provides a strategic platform for newbies to meet and connect with business leaders and policymakers to accelerate their start-up’s growth in the right direction.
