According To VP, Bharat Is Laying Out A Plan To Recapture Vishwaguru’s Grandeur

December 11, 2023
Bharat

Today, Shri Jagdeep Dhankhar, the Vice President of India, emphasized that “Bharat is charting its course to reclaim its glory of Vishwa Guru.” In order to leave a legacy of a Bharat that values its rich civilizational ethos, he challenged young leaders to forge a way for next generations. “Let’s believe, execute, collaborate, and, above all, aspire to be change-makers as we stride towards 2047” , he said.

Speaking at the platinum jubilee celebrations of XLRI – Xavier School of Management in Jamshedpur today, the Vice-President emphasized the importance of encouraging students to embrace economic nationalism in both intent and action in order to re-instill a sense of “Swadesh” among the youth. He listed its many benefits, which include protecting foreign exchange reserves, encouraging entrepreneurship, and increasing job prospects.

Shri Dhankhar cautioned against the fear of failure, calling it “anti-development and anti-growth” and emphasized that giving up on a project out of fear does injustice to both oneself and all of humanity.

The Vice-President emphasized that we are at the “threshold of the Fourth Industrial Revolution” and that several innovative technologies have emerged, including artificial intelligence, machine learning, quantum computing, the internet of things, 6G technology, and green hydrogen. He emphasized that new technologies will present unmatched opportunities, transforming entire industries, rethinking problems, and radically altering our way of life and employment.

“It is vital to realize that success is not only determined by the weight of books or the pressure of grades, but also by the passion of learning and resilience to overcome obstacles,” stated the vice president.

VP praised “India’s infrastructural strides dotted with modern marvels like the New Parliament building, Bharat Mandapam, and the expansive Yashobhoomi, the Prime Minister Meuseum,” highlighting the country’s growing might and international recognition and praising their timely completion.

The Vice-President stated in his speech that “a stress-free mindset not only enhances creativity and innovation but also fosters holistic development.” According to him, this method guarantees that each student succeeds both academically and as a fully-rounded person, ready to handle the challenges of life outside of the classroom.

Inspiring pupils to “think outside the box,” Shri Dhankhar described Jamshedpur as a place of “innovation and enterprise.” He clarified, saying, “There is an ecosystem where you can realize your dreams and aspirations and fully exploit your talent and potential.”

On this occasion, additional dignitaries included Professor Sanjay Patro, Dean of Academics at XLRI, Father S. George, Director of XLRI, and State Governor of Jharkhand, Shri C.P. Radhakrishnan.
