Sreya Francis, an Ontario-based researcher studying Malayali, has been chosen to receive the prestigious ‘AIconics Solutions Implementer of the Year’ award from the International AI Summit. Her notable contributions to the security aspects of artificial intelligence (AI) are highlighted by this honor.
Out of more than 1,000 entries from throughout the world, Sreya is one of the five talented people who have been nominated. The public will vote to choose the winner of the prize on December 6 in New York at the summit.
Sreya Francis, who is 29 years old, has made a name for herself in the field of artificial intelligence, specializing in its uses for human development. She is Susan Thomas’s principal at VNSS SN Trusts School in Cherthala and the only child of Dr. M V Francis. She is currently the Technical Innovation Head at Farm Mutual Re.
Sreya’s creative achievements are distinguished by her deft integration of blockchain technology, causal machine learning, and distributed machine learning to decentralize artificial intelligence. Of particular note is the concept that she developed and executed: ‘Causal Federated Learning,’ which has been adopted by top research facilities worldwide, such as IBM Research and Microsoft Research, as well as by enterprises worldwide.
Sreya, a Thrikkakara Model Engineering College alum, has actively taken part in international conferences with a focus on the security and safety aspects of artificial intelligence.
In addition to her technical proficiency, she has become a mentor in the field of artificial intelligence for young women and a proponent of electronic data interchange. As a member of Farm Mutual Re’s Equity and Diversity Council, Sreya’s dedication to advancing diversity is evident.
She has also overseen robotics and AI projects at industry heavyweights including Panasonic AI, Wipro, and TATA Elxsi’s research and development center in Japan and India.
