Ten AI Jobs That Provide Opportunities For Advancement

December 19, 2023
Artificial-Intelligence

The field of artificial intelligence (AI) is one that is fast developing and finds use in many different sectors and areas, including healthcare, education, finance, entertainment, and more. Because they can create, develop, and implement AI solutions that improve human capabilities and solve complicated challenges, artificial intelligence professionals are in high demand.

Machine Learning Engineer: A machine learning engineer is a specialist in the development and training of machine learning models, including support vector machines, neural networks, and decision trees, for use in classification, regression, clustering, and recommendation applications. Additionally, machine learning experts assess the correctness and performance of these models while deploying and maintaining them in real-world settings.

Data scientist: Using a variety of tools and approaches, including data mining, data visualization, data wrangling, and data storytelling, a data scientist is a specialist who examines and understands big and complicated data sets. In order to provide insights and forecasts that can assist companies and organizations in improving their decision-making and process optimization, data scientists also employ AI and machine learning.

AI research scientist: A specialist in AI fields like speech recognition, computer vision, reinforcement learning, and natural language processing, an AI research scientist carries out scientific investigations and studies in these areas. To push the boundaries of AI, research experts create new frameworks, algorithms, and techniques.

AI ethics consultant: A specialist in the ethical, social, and legal aspects of AI use, an AI ethics consultant counsels and directs corporations and organizations. AI ethics experts also support the development and application of just, open, accountable, and considerate AI systems that uphold the rights and values of people.

Robotics engineer: Using AI, machine learning, computer vision, and sensor fusion, a robotics engineer is a specialist who designs, builds, and tests robots and robotic systems. The movements, activities, and interactions of the robots with people and their surroundings are also programmed and managed by robotics professionals.

AI product manager: An expert who supervises and coordinates the creation and introduction of AI products, such as software, platforms, or hardware, is known as an AI product manager. Along with defining the product’s vision, strategy, and roadmap, AI product managers also work with customers, developers, designers, and marketers to coordinate with other stakeholders.

AI solutions architect: An expert who develops and applies AI solutions for certain business or organizational issues, such fraud detection, sentiment analysis, or customer service, is known as an AI solutions architect. Along with ensuring the scalability, dependability, and security of the AI solutions, architects of AI solutions also assess and choose the finest AI technologies, tools, and frameworks for the particular use case.

Natural language processing engineer: This expert creates and trains natural language processing models—word embeddings, recurrent neural networks, transformers—to carry out tasks like sentiment analysis, machine translation, text analysis, and text generation. Engineers that specialize in natural language processing also set up and maintain these models in real-world settings, testing their correctness and performance.

Computer vision engineer: To carry out tasks like image classification, face recognition, scene understanding, and image synthesis, a computer vision engineer develops and trains computer vision models, such as convolutional neural networks, generative adversarial networks, and object detection models. Additionally, computer vision experts assess the accuracy and performance of these models while deploying and maintaining them in real-world settings.

Business intelligence developer: Using AI, machine learning, and data analytics, a business intelligence developer is a professional who develops and maintains business intelligence systems and tools, including dashboards, reports, and data warehouses. Additionally, business intelligence developers help firms and organizations increase their productivity and efficiency by offering data-driven insights and recommendations.
