Rinna Launching Aibility, A Solution For Building AI Chatbots That Supports Small And Medium-Sized Businesses

December 10, 2022
Artificial-Intelligence

Background

Rinna seeks to create a society where everyone can express their own creativity through rich interactions made possible by AI-mediated communication with people in line with its vision of “a co-creation world between humans and AI.” To let many people have a casual encounter with AI, we have been offering services like AI Rinna and the AI character social networking service “Chararu” (currently available in Japan only). A chatbot generation service for companies, AIbility focuses mostly on small and medium-sized businesses and sole owners. We were able to offer this service at a substantially lower cost by focusing on the AI technology we have developed up to this point in chatbots.

Presenting AIbility

Artificial intelligence (AI) and ability are combined to form the name of the service, AIbility. In general, setting up scenarios, registering synonyms, creating a large number of question/answer combinations, and other expensive chores are necessary before a chatbot can be put into use. By simply entering your replies into a template, AIbility enables you to rapidly construct chatbots. By posting a URL, allowing a contact point to be made on a social networking site, or by producing a QR code, the chatbot can be put up on a variety of platforms. It can also be used in actual stores. Due of their default availability in 30 languages, including English and Chinese, chatbots are advantageous for international commerce. The first 14 days of the service are provided without charge; after that, it costs IDR 99.000 per month.

Quote

Satoshi Yamane, a product manager, says: “We created this software to help small- and medium-sized business owners who are swamped with client inquiries. By collaborating with their AI staff, this approach should give business owners a better experience.”

Chatbots can only be created and used as of the time of release. By integrating chatbots with rinna’s speech synthesis technology, we intend to expand the usage scenarios for chatbots and provide features for assessing the content of customer dialogues. In order to create a world where many people can live their lives in their own unique ways alongside AI, Rinna intends to deploy AI in society and will keep improving its technology.
