MeitY Selects Yotta As A Certified Cloud Service Provider

December 14, 2022
meity

Yotta Infrastructure stated that it has been approved as a certified Cloud Service Provider by the Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY). With this breakthrough, Yotta’s wide array of cloud and cloud-enabled services can now meet the needs of public sector organisations and government departments and agencies for digital transformation.

In addition to our extensive list of international certifications, which includes PCI-DSS; Open IX DC OIX-2; AICPA SOC; Trusted Partner Network; SAP certification in S/4 HANA Solutions Operations, SAP Business Suite Solutions Operations, Hosting Operations, SAP HANA Operations, Cloud & Infrastructure Operations; along with a LEED Gold Certification for Sustainability and Uptime Institute’s Tier IV Gold Operations certificate, Yotta’s MeitY empanelment comes shortly after we were awarded.

Yotta’s compliance with the strict regulatory, performance, operational, and data security frameworks established by MeitY, as confirmed by a thorough review procedure, is indicated by the company’s empanelment.

Yotta’s services covered by MeitY’s empanelled programme span a broad digital transformation landscape and aid public sector and government organisations in advancing the Digital India objective. The services, which include compute, storage, databases, networks, security, support, monitoring, analytics, and managed services, are dispersed over public, private, and government community clouds. High Performance Computing as a Service, Work From Anywhere Services, Virtual GPU Workstations, Endpoint Backup & Recovery Solution, University Management System, and other services are also available in Yotta’s public cloud.

Yotta’s co-founder and CEO, Sunil Gupta, commented on the news by stating that “Yotta’s goal has been precisely linked with the government’s ambitions to make India a digital superpower. We are aware that the core of India’s digital revolution is the digitization of governmental institutions and other public sector organisations. Through numerous collaborations and synergies with the government, Yotta has already played a significant part in elevating Digital India to new levels. The appointment of MeitY is an important accomplishment in Yotta’s initiatives to advance the nation’s digital economy and promote universal digital inclusion.

The government segment’s customers can be confident that Yotta will satisfy their strict regulatory requirements in relation to data security, governance and control, cybersecurity frameworks, disaster recovery, uptime, and operational efficiency, among other things, thanks to the company’s appointment by MeitY.
