Major Unique AI Technologies Leveraging Innovation in 2021

April 22, 2021
India expected to invest $1 billion in AI by 2023

India expected to invest $1 billion in AI by 2023

Here is the list of the top five unique AI technologies that are making people feel awe

We are experiencing new technologies on a daily basis. With artificial intelligence as the foundation stone, many disruptive trends are emerging every day, making the world a sophisticated place to live in. But 2020 and 2021 have something special. These two years have accelerated the AI technologies to a height that it has never been before. It all began when the Covid-19 pandemic broke out and dismissed the employees from the office premises. Companies had no other option but to work on remote mode. But initially, we all thought it was difficult and won’t work. As AI technologies evolved, it has become more than possible. New algorithms in artificial emerged with new features are making anything easy and accessible. Today, we are in the mid-year of 2021. What started in 2020 is unfolding further with many developments this year. Henceforth, analytics insight has listed the top five unique AI technologies that are making people feel awe.

Top Five Unique AI technologies

Tactile Virtual Reality

Ever since the beginning of 2020, the concept of augmented reality and virtual reality has been getting wide attention. Augmented reality in shopping and virtual reality equipment has seen great adoption in the past year. CISCO forecasts that globally, AR and VR traffic will increase 12-fold by 2022 in all fields of the environment. In an initiative to move further, virtual reality is taking a different route recently. It is coordinating with touch sense to get a deeper understanding of things that cannot be fully experienced by sight or hearing. Henceforth, virtual reality uses other technologies like sensors, advanced optics, etc. bundled into a single device to provide an overlay of augmented digital content into users’ real-time space. This is called tactile virtual reality. With the help of tactile or haptic technology, the touch barrier can now be scaled.

Internet of Behaviour

The whole concept of Internet of Behaviour (IoB) came to existence during the Covid-19 pandemic. People were unaware of the behavioral changes they might undergo when something big happens. But it came to light during the lockdown period. Companies were using previous data to perform analysis, which turned out to be unsuccessful because of customers’ changed behaviors. Besides, the concept of Internet of Behaviour is also important in other cases like wearing a mask or using sanitizer as a routine action to stop the spread of the virus. Henceforth, companies started collecting and using data that talks about people’s behavior. For example, industrial sites have employed computer vision to determine if employees are complying with Covid-19 guidelines like wearing a mask and then collecting their data to be analyzed by the organizations to influence people to follow government protocols at work.

Cybersecurity mesh

Cybersecurity mesh is a futuristic innovation that opens the door for anybody to access any digital security asset from any location. Fortunately, it also provides security to the users’ system by allowing people to place security walls around individuals rather than the entire organization. However, it is the need of the hour for every company to sensitize its employees on the cybersecurity mesh as all of us have moved from office premises to work from home mode. Cybersecurity mesh goes beyond its normal cybersecurity capabilities and protects employees working remotely.

TikTok’s algorithm

The video-making platform TikTok has gained a wide range of attention ever since its launch in 2016. The Chinese platform has been in many controversies as well. But even after being banned in countries like India, TikTok still manages to see millions of downloads. The secret behind this is the platform’s ‘For you’ feed that changes the way people become famous online. It features individuals who star music and the algorithm is particularly adept at feeding relevant content or niche communities of users who share a particular interest or identity. The ability to make new video creators go crazy by accelerating their video to get many views and help them find relevant content has stunned the world.

Multi-skilled AI

Even though artificial intelligence had ends meet for humans, it is still behind many human capabilities. Artificial intelligence can perform tough tasks but can’t do something that a five-year-old does. It is because artificial intelligence is fed with data and powered by an algorithm. On the other hand, children learn slowly from what they see. Henceforth, humans and artificial intelligence, and robotics are different. However, researchers have found the pain point. So they are desperately working on addressing the AI issue by making models that can perform multiple tasks at the same time. It is called multi-skilled AI. It is a combination of all the technologies like natural language processing, computer vision, audio recognition, etc that acts as ears, eyes, and mouth of a machine.
