The civic agency stated on Wednesday that the Municipal Corporation of Delhi had launched a program to educate its school students about waste management through AI.
The initiative has been started in collaboration with ITC WOW and Sultan Chand Publication. The initial rolling of the program is spread amongst 25 innovative schools of MCD in the Keshavpuram zone.
The civic agency will be setting up computer labs in 25 schools to conduct the program correctly. The program will be conducted by E-SREE NGO and Method AI, which Sultan Chand Publication runs. Both the organizations will provide training in AI to teachers as well as students.
The program is a unique initiative in educating students about AI. The corporation stated that this initiative aims to infuse a scientific approach among the school students. Students of MCD schools, with the help of this program, will know about the importance of waste disposal at the source station. Further, the students will also recognize educational tours of recycling industries.
