AI & Machine Learning Certificate Course Launched by iHub Spoke, Kargil Campus, UoL

With a magnificent inaugural ceremony, the iHub Spoke Center at the University of Ladakh’s Kargil Campus introduced a Special Certificate course on AI and ML, tailored especially for PM Shri Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya, Kargil students. The inaugural Ceremony was held with great excitement and demonstrated the region’s dedication to expanding educational possibilities. The Chief Guest for the event was Honorable Vice Chancellor of the University of Ladakh, Prof. S.K. Mehta, while the Special Guest was Shri. Amitabh K. Ashwani, Principal PM of Shri JNV Kargil.

The occasion began with the customary Khatak ceremony, which is a sign of respect and honor. Chief Guest and Special Guest were given Khatak by Madam Kaneez Fatima, Worthy Rector of Kargil Campus, UOL. The welcome speech was given by Madam Kaneez Fatima after this customary greeting. She conveyed her appreciation for the support and attendance of the Vice Chancellor and other notable guests. During her lecture, she emphasized the advancements and successes of the UOL iHub Spoke Center, the role artificial intelligence plays in the current educational environment, and the skill-based education policy that is being put into place. She also commended PM Shri JNV Kargil’s principal for coming up with the idea for the course, which showed cooperation in improving educational options.

Prof. S.K. Mehta, the chief guest, officially opened the course by revealing the curriculum curriculum booklet. The audience was then addressed by Dr. Mehboob Ali, Coordinator of iHUB Spoke, who gave a perceptive speech about the significance of the course, its curriculum, and the anticipated results for the students.

During his speech, Special Guest Shri Amitabh K. Ashwini thanked the University of Ladakh, especially the Kargil Campus, for approving and supporting the course. He expressed his gratitude to Dr. Mehboob, the Vice Chancellor, and the Rector for their crucial contributions in making this project a reality.

As a thank you for their support and contributions, the dignitaries also received souvenirs at the ceremony. The chief guest’s keynote speech came next, during which Prof. S.K. Mehta praised Madam Kaneez Fatima for her commitment to raising the standard of instruction at the university and discussed the important role the iHub Spoke Center plays on campus.

As the event came to an end, Mr. Anwar Hussain (Assist. Prof.) gave the formal vote of gratitude and thanked everyone for their contributions to making the ceremony run well. With a concentrated push on AI and machine learning meant to provide students with cutting-edge skills for the future, the event marked a significant step towards improving the University of Ladakh’s educational landscape.
