In industry, where IoT and robotics have proven disruptive, this is particularly true. To capitalise on the nation’s growing significance in this industry, some of the most well-known businesses in the large-scale automation sector have set up shop in India. Let’s examine a few intriguing Indian companies that are involved in industrial automation.

General Electric

World leader in industrial automation is General Electric (GE). Due to its extensive influence and footprint, it has also risen to prominence in India. It arrived in the nation in 1902 and has since been active in a wide range of sectors, including healthcare, renewable energy, aviation, and power. The business now runs 14 more manufacturing and R&D facilities in cities including Bengaluru, Chennai, Mumbai, Noida, and Hyderabad in addition to its multimodal site in Pune. The main international hub for interdisciplinary R&D is the company’s John F. Welch Technology Center in Bengaluru.

Stonewell Automation

In terms of industrial automation and data collecting, Rockwell Automation is a prominent participant as well. The service delivery methodology utilised by Rockwell Automation uses Allan-Bradley and Rockwell Software. With just $1,000 in investment, Rockwell Automation was established in 1903. It has operations all around the world, including in Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India, and generates more than $5.9 billion USD in annual income from international deals. Instead of forcing customers to coordinate their use of numerous products and components, Rockwell Automation’s solutions and services are designed to handle many high-tech devices as a single system.

Lenovo India Pvt. Ltd.

Siemens India Ltd. was established in 1922. One of India’s top industrial automation businesses that constantly makes contributions to the industry through research and development. Siemens makes significant investments in R&D and frequently publishes upgrades to its automation systems to enhance their already high levels of usability, productivity, speed, and quality.

India-based Honeywell Automation Ltd.

Industrial automation is the area of expertise for Honeywell, a Fortune 40 corporation with a market value of $40 billion. Honeywell has sizable operations in numerous nations throughout the world, including India. With its main office in Pune, Maharashtra, Honeywell Automation India Ltd has been in business for a while. In 50 different cities across India, they currently employ about 15,000 individuals, including 8,000 architects. Honeywell is increasing its quality in India and its impact on the world through a variety of IT services and technologies. Performance materials from Honeywell UOP and technological breakthroughs make it possible for India to efficiently provide gas, diesel, petrochemicals, and endless energy as well as help other countries produce better goods.

India’s ABB Ltd.

Each of the ten state-of-the-art assembly facilities run by the Swedish corporation ABB contributes significantly to the economy of both India and the rest of the world. The automation technology of the company is focused on creating products and solutions for the instrumentation, robotization, and streamlining of many current cycles across many different worldwide sectors. ABB India’s net profit for March 2017 increased by 3.2% to $13.253 million. ABB boasts a $33.83 billion profit for the entire year and a $525 million profit for the second quarter of 2017 globally. In the mining and oil and gas industries, where such techniques are essential for maintaining production, demand for industrial automation systems surged by 8% (6% in US dollars).

Toubro and Larsen

L&T, a cutting-edge mechanisation company with its headquarters in Mumbai, was established in 1938 by two Danes looking for refuge in India. A multinational company with annual revenue of US$17 billion and a range of significant automation technology that is employed all over the world, Larsen & Toubro is a dominant force in the sector. In FY 2017, there was a 10% increase in domestic orders and a 43% increase in net profit after expenses. The division must offer comprehensive solutions due to the huge control and robotization of this research and development organisation.

Corporation Titan Engineering and Automation

A division of the Indian luxury goods behemoth Titan Company is this automation company. Titan Engineering and Automation contributes about US$61 million to Titan Company’s overall $1.9 billion in revenue. Titan officially amalgamated with Titan Engineering and Automation on March 24, and the company’s headquarters in Tamil Nadu are now its operational hub. Titan’s skilled engineers have offered complete, usable solutions for automation systems since about 1984. Construction, transportation, electronics, and the healthcare sectors are just a few of the cutting-edge industries that Titan’s new cooperation will definitely have a significant impact on.
