Five Best Resources For Quantum Machine Learning

October 13, 2022
machine learning

Quantum machine learning is a field of a theory that is just beginning to grow. However, it is where Quantum Computing and Machine Learning meet. The main goal of Quantum Machine Learning is to speed things up by applying what we know about quantum computing to machine learning.

Due to the opportunities in the field, students who know how to work with quantum machine learning algorithms can be in high demand. So, look at a few online courses you can use to learn about quantum machine learning.

Quantum Machine Learning – edx (University of Toronto)

This course aims to show how quantum technologies can help machine learning now and in the future, focusing on algorithms that are hard to do with traditional digital computers. They focused a lot on putting the protocols into action, which they did by using open-source frameworks in Python. There will be guest lectures by well-known researchers in the field, giving each major topic more depth.

Quantum Computing and Quantum Machine Learning – (Udemy)

This class gives you the right background to learn Quantum Computing and Quantum Machine Learning. Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence, Physicists, Researchers, Cloud Computing Professionals, Python Programmers, DevOps, Security, and Data Science Professionals would love this course to join the new era of computing. In-depth coverage of all the prerequisites will be given in this course so that the concepts will be easy to understand in the next series on quantum computing and machine learning.

Quantum machine learning – Qiskit

This course has about eight hours of material and is meant for self-learners who already know the basics of math and quantum computing at the undergraduate level. This course will teach you about essential ideas in quantum machine learning, such as parameterized quantum circuits, training these circuits, and using them to solve simple problems. In addition, you will learn about quantum kernels and general adversarial networks by the end of the course. The last part of this course is a project you can use to show what you’ve learned.

IBM Quantum worked with Qiskit Advocates through the Qiskit Advocate Mentoring Program to make this course.

Hands-On Quantum Machine Learning with Python

Quantum Machine Learning in the Real World With Python is a complete guide to starting with Quantum Machine Learning, which uses quantum computing to run algorithms for machine learning. In this class, you will learn how machine learning and quantum computing work on a fundamental level. In addition, this course teaches how to make parameterized quantum circuits for classification.

Quantum Machine Learning: BlueCourses

This course will start with the basic ideas behind quantum systems. Then, it will move on to basic elementary computations, using Python Qiskit programs as examples. After learning these basic ideas, the course will teach the core algorithms of quantum computing, focusing on coherent quantum machine learning.

The course will discuss recent advances, quantum supremacy, and hardware already used. Students should have an excellent theoretical solid background to take the course, but it is also for people who don’t know much about quantum mechanics or quantum computing.
