Top electric vehicle startups in India – India is aiming towards green energy and renewable energy sources. Electric Vehicles form a part of green India’s initiative. Electric vehicles are the vehicles that partially or fully use electric power for propulsion. They do not burn fuel and have zero emissions. The demand for electric vehicles is growing in the country and therefore, many companies are tapping on this technology. Along with the big companies in the automobile sector, many start-ups are also playing a huge role in producing electric vehicles.

1- Ola Electric

Ola Electric develops electric scooters in India. It develops its products with AI enabled robots. It has a manufacturing plant in Krishnagiri, Tamil Nadu. In 2021, it launched 2 models of EV scooters:

  • Ola Electric Scooter S1 – Rs. 85,099
  • Ola Electric Scooter S1 Pro – Rs. 1.10 lakh
